REAL ESTATE CELEBRITY : Bollywood star Madhuri Dixit has been in the news for more than just her movie fame. She is also involved in real estate projects. A story from Hindustan Times says that Madhuri has rented an office in Andheri West, Mumbai, for a huge ₹3 lakh per month.
As of November 13, a deal was made to rent the office space to a private company, according to the report. A big security deposit of ₹9 lakh was also part of the deal. For the first year, the rent is ₹3 lakh per month. In the 2nd year, it rises up by 5% to ₹3.15 lakh per month.
The building itself is in a high-end apartment complex in Lower Parel and is a huge 5,384 square feet. It has seven parking spaces, which are very important in Mumbai’s real estate market. Madhuri paid ₹48 crore for this expensive property and had to pay an extra ₹2.4 crore in stamp tax.
It’s not a new trend for Bollywood stars to buy homes as an extra way to make money. A lot of money has been put into business properties by celebrities like Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Salman Khan, and Amitabh Bachchan. This shows that real estate is becoming more and more popular in the entertainment industry.
