Prajakta Koli Makes the Leap from YouTube to Acting
In 2015 Koli started her YouTube recording the content of her channel Mostly sane. She had much bigger dreams that included starting her own Youtube Channel that time was unheard of in the Indian subcontinent. Daunting as the idea was Koli took the biggest plunge of her life after working for a popular radio station and started creating videos for audiences. One of her videos went viral and attracted many views building her clothing brand. Now she has approximately 7.14 million subscribers on Youtube and about 8 million followers on Instagram.

Somehow acting came into the picture since she worked in the short film called Khayali Pulao in the year 2020. Many people didn’t give the role much attention until a Netflix series named Mismatched cast her in the lead role. Both her performance and on screen chemistry with co-star Rohit Saraf complimented each other. After over 2 successful seasons of Mismatched the third one is being released today on December 13; not just the series but the film Jug Jugg Jeeyo which included a star cast of Anil kapoor, Neetu kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani. She was also seen on the screen very recently in 2023 thriller film Neeyat.
